Speaker Bios
Claire Gandee, M.E.
Sales Engineering Manager

Claire is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Master of Engineering degree in Structures and a BSCE (Civil/Structures). She began her consulting engineering career at Walter P Moore, working on notable projects such as the Miami Marlins stadium roof, Houston Museum of Natural Science, and CONRAC at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta airport.
After leaving Walter P. Moore, she managed the technical sales team at ADAPT Structural Concrete software for 9 years, which specializes in reinforced and post-tensioned concrete. At Bekaert, Claire manages the technical sales team and works with Structural engineers to help them better understand the mechanics of using steel fiber reinforced concrete in their designs, identify best-suited applications, and provides assistance to engineers for specifying and detailing their projects utilizing her expertise in the industry. Additionally, she provides design recommendations, specification review, and facilitates alignment in project goals within the AEC team.

Susan is an enthusiastic leader and educator that inspires creativity and knows how to deliver solutions. Her experience in both industrial and commercial construction includes shrinkage-compensating concrete, CSA cements, air & moisture-barriers, decking & waterproofing systems, stucco, EIFS, tile setting materials, architectural finishes and decorative overlays, epoxy and urethane coatings and flooring systems, marine coatings, and secondary containment.
She holds a Masters of Business Administration from UMUC along with a number of technical and professional certifications. She’s passionate about making a difference and is excited to share how shrinkage-compensating concrete can help optimize performance, sustainability, service life and value of concrete structures in all types of concrete and grout applications.

Danny is a graduate of High Point University, where he received a Master’s in Business Administration.
Danny has over 16 years of experience delivering steel solutions in the industrial construction sectors, and he has worked with some of the top steel industry leaders in North America. As a steel fiber expert, Danny has helped saved millions of dollars and thousands of hours on labor force.
Tim Lussier

Tim Lussier has been in the manufacturing and construction industry for over 20 years, working in all types of concrete construction. He has previously held positions at Oldcastle Infrastructure in sales, project management, operational and commercial excellence, and management.
Tim has been with the Bekaert since 2008 and has held positions of Regional Sales Manager and Executive Regional Sales Manager. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a Minor in Technology Management from Oswego State University.
